Storm-water Management:

This group works on projects related to the sustainable management of storm-water in our community. We look at alternative methods of handling run-off water that result in the reduction of surface pollutants allowed into our rivers and streams. Spring '10 Goals:
1. Work with EPICS to install a rain garden at the Hillel Jewish Campus House. - This installation will be April 18th 2010. Please contact us if you would like to help!
2. Determine another location and draft a design for a second rain garden to be placed on campus. We are currently working with campus architects to determine future locations.

Prospective Projects:
1) Rain Gardens design and implementation
2) Erosion Prevention
3) Storm water run-off water testing
