The Alternative Transportation Committee advocates for increasing the use of methods of transportation besides cars. It is their goal to take on projects that will enable people to leave their automobiles for a more sustainable means of transport, such as walking, biking, skating, or taking the bus.

Semester Goals for Spring 2012

• Collect data about faculty and staff and analyze it for CityBus, come up with a solution for increasing ridership.
• Set up a table by CL50 or Stewart Center around the middle of spring to educate passers-by about alternative transportation.
