The BGI board consists of the president, vice president, secretary and treasurer, as well as the chairs of the committees and support teams. Elections for the next board are held at the end of each academic year. President  Stephen Kelly (kellysa@purdue.edu) Major: Environmental and Ecological Engineering My name is Stephen and this is my 4th year in Boiler Green Initiative. I am currently a Senior in environmental and ecological engineering. I am an avid golfer, have studied abroad in New Zealand, enjoy hanging out with my friends, and listening to good music. She enjoys watching and playing sports, and hanging out with friends. Treasurer  Amy Bare (abare@purdue.edu) Major: Natural Resources and Environmental Science This is Amy's 3rd year in BGI. She is extremely proud of the club and the changes that it has implemented on campus. In her free time she enjoys kayaking, visiting state parks, and watching movies with friends. Green Roof  Ashley Holmes (holmes9@purdue.edu) Major: Natural Resources and Environmental Science / Environmental Plant Studies My name's Ashley, and I'm a Green Roof committee co-chair for the 2011-2012 year. I'm a huge plant nerd, and I worked on the first season of Purdue's student farm this summer (and my fowl friend in the photo is Sheldon the bantam rooster). I enjoy photography, music, playing guitar/bass, nerdy things, and being a part of BGI.  Andrew Martin (marti330@purdue.edu) Major: Architectural Engineering Andrew wants to make buildings less ugly by giving them life. Also, he is highly trained in equine combat. Recycling  Rachel Tai (rtai@purdue.edu) I am from a beautiful tropical country called Malaysia. I love the Earth and hope to make it a cleaner and greener place for all living things. In my spare time, I enjoy sorting out recycled material into the appropriate bins...call me crazy, but someone has to do it! Alternative Transportation  Finu Lukose (finu.j.lukose.1@purdue.edu) Major: Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering My name is Finu (pronounced FEE-KNEW) and this is my first year in BGI. I like playing volleyball and talking to my friends on walks around campus. I would love to live in Germany for some time (but not forever). I also enjoy playing tennis, golfing and surfing as well as riding my bike. Environmental Policy  Allison Turner (turner92@purdue.edu) I am from Illinois and am currently a freshman at Purdue. I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors. I am interested in environmental law, and I hope to empower individuals and organizations to protect the environment.
